There's nothing like breaking through winter and getting our Summer on! But with a hotter, more humid climate, comes excess sweating and oil accumulation on the skin. You guessed it, that means feeding acne and blocking pores...and not just on the face either. Breakouts caused by oil accumulation can also be prevalent on the neck, chest, and booty...and we don't have time for that!
Here's our top tips to survive the summer, breakout free!
1. Wash your face daily with a face wash containing AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids). Glycolic and Lactic acids are your best friends as they cause less irritation while also prevent acne breakouts and exfoliating deep within the pore
2. Use a facial oil. Sounds silly right?! But using an oil to combat oily skin helps by hydrating the skin, giving your skin extra moisture. Jojoba oil also helps by dissolving sebum, the oil substance produced in the sebaceous glands.
